Malsi Deer Park has been renamed Dehradun Zoo. After Rajaji National Park in Dehradun, Malsi Deer Park is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Located on Mussoorie Road, 10 km from Dehradun, this mini-zoological park or garden has become a popular family outing/picnic area in Dehradun, with a high volume of tourists on weekends.

Malsi Deer Park, surrounded by Malsi Reserve Forest, is notable for viewing young deer or herds of deer in their native environment near Shiwalik slopes. If trained, one may easily capture a photograph of a deer. Aside from the gorgeous deer, the park also features two-horned deer and Neelgai (Indian Antelope). Visitors may also see a broad range of birds in their natural habitat at the park. Malsi Deer Park also features caged peacocks and bunnies that visitors may feed.
Park officials also installed many slides for youngsters. At this park, children may have fun while learning about animals. In the park, a resourceful canteen offers food. The park is fee-based and closed on Mondays.

You Can visit the Malsi Deer Park, Uttarakhand throughout the year. Zoo opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. The zoological garden takes roughly 2 hours to tour. Note, however, that the park is closed to the public on Mondays and public holidays.
